It is one of the most suggestive naturalistic sites of the territory north of Marostica, the Gorghi Scuri. For lovers of the genre this place vaguely resembles the elven "Rivendell" of "The Lord of the Rings". In the popular imagination of the Venetian tradition this type of place represents the ideal hiding place for Anguane and Salbanelli (which are nothing but mythological fairies and goblins of the woods).
This Valley is certainly among the most important wetlands in the territory of Marostica. The river Valletta, with its pools and waterfalls, is an oasis for many animals: salamanders come to breed in these waters, migratory birds find refreshment during their long journeys, the dragonflies are courting among the reeds... and hikers can immerse themselves in this atmosphere of peace and serenity a few steps from the city center.
