Laghetti di Laghi

The small lakes are located in the Province of Vicenza at the foot of the Vicentine pre-Alps near the border between the Municipality of Laghi and the municipality of Arsiero, in a valley with an almost circular shape, the valley of Laghi.
They are surrounded by Mount Maio (m 1499) to the southwest, the ridge of Cimone dei Laghi (m 1480) and Mount Castellone (m 1293) to the north, and Mount dei Calgari (m 926) to the northeast.
The small lakes currently consist of two modest elongated basins along the northwest-southeast axis, connected by a short channel, but for most of the year they are not linked and maintain a height difference of about 180 cm. They are fed by Rio Molini-Gusella as an inflow and give rise to the stream La Zara as an outflow at an altitude of 533 m a.s.l.
