Church built in 1576 and maintained by the hermits until the end of the 19th century, it was constructed following the solemn vow made by the people of Arsiero for the cessation of the plague epidemic that was raging at the time.
The small atrium in front of the church was built in 1836 to shelter travelers who, on their way to Posina, were caught by bad weather.
The church was destroyed during both World Wars and was then rebuilt in its current forms in 1959.
St. Roch was called in Arsiero "liberator of the village," and even today, on August 16 of each year, the Administration renews the vow with a public ceremony.
