This museum is owned by Mr. Pasquale Loris, born in Vicenza in 1962, who has been fascinated by various types of collecting since he was a child: football player stickers, coins, stamps, butterflies, minerals, fossils, and more.
He was twenty years old when a family friend, a bicycle mechanic from Breganze, gifted his father Francesco an old bicycle equipped with a roller engine, model Mosquito 38.
Loris was immediately captivated by this two-wheeled vehicle, which ignited his passion for collecting other bicycle models. In just a few years, his collection of bicycles and accessories grew so much that it gave rise to a museum that has been open to the public since July 2006.
Today, the museum has an area of 150 square meters where about a hundred models of historical bicycles are displayed, starting from the Michaux penny-farthing dating back to 1863 up to modern models, along with various accessories related to bicycles and their history, such as shirts, vintage clothing, advertising posters, flyers, books, catalogs, medals, lanterns, etc.
