It is a well-known story that, some time ago, all the boys and adults of the Delta got their hands dirty playing with "tivaro," the dialect name for clay, creating objects to use as toys or as household items and at their highest artistic expression as musical instruments.
This premise is necessary to introduce the idea of a family that has become an institution, a true "beacon" in the Delta area, a family that for almost a century has been working with clay to create unique terracotta jewelry, to which life and voice are given through the harmonious notes of ocarinas and the curious shapes and sounds of whistles.
In the 80s and 90s, the passion became increasingly engaging, and visits to the workshop grew more numerous. The company first entered the circuit of educational farms by Coldiretti and later became part of the museum system of the Province of Rovigo. In March 2010, coinciding with the hundredth birthday of the founding father Idelmo Fecchio, the inauguration and creation of a sort of museum/collection that gathers objects "born" from the manipulation of clay and preserved over the years as memorabilia. Thanks to funding from the Park Authority, a historical-educational-musical exhibition path was created with thematic showcases and illustrative panels. To complete the journey, for those who wish, it will be possible to participate in a manual activity workshop, guided step by step by Benvenuto, to create their "own work of art."
