A tangible testimony of the daily history, not so distant, of local culture and lifestyles that have changed significantly today, in a border land.
The story of the mountain people of the Upper Val Leogra is told through the objects and the explanation of their use. The exhibited objects date from the mid-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.
In the museum, around the fireplace, the kitchen is reconstructed with a series of utensils that are now outdated in modern times.
The other tools are grouped by profession, representing those most common in the valley: the farmer, the woodcutter, the winemaker, the blacksmith, the carpenter, the shoemaker, the butcher, and the cheesemaker.
Each object is a reference to characters from another time, who worked with logics related to ingenuity and respect for the natural balance; many objects and tools that stimulate our curiosity to recognize them transformed or similar in our daily experience, sometimes hidden by technology.
The museum is located on the second floor of the S. Sebastiano Parish Theater.
