The house of "trombetta" is a small home. It has got three, simple rooms.
Situated near the historical, medieval, civic tower of Castelfranco Veneto. It's a renaissance building.
Here lived the herald, an important member for the Serenissima, Venice 's Republic. Herald had a task: he played the trumpet to call the people to the square and then, he announced the new laws and taxes.
He called "trombetta" because he played the trumpet when the government made a decision for its inhabitants. He was a pubblic citizen of the city of Castelfranco. His house was a politic simbol.
In this moment, in the house of "trombetta" there is a beautiful, artistic and cultural heritage: the big mechanical, iron clock from the nineteenth century. It was the clock of the civic tower. It is a marvelous tecnological object. Near the clock, there are other elements: weights of the watch, the old almanack and other objects of the clock.
The clock was a heritage of Serenissima, it was the first watch of the city.
