Between 1753 and 1754 the church was completely rebuilt. The restoration gave it its current appearance: the altar was moved to the west and the new façade was preceded by a spectacular staircase. The large cypresses that now flank it were planted in the early twentieth century. The last restoration was carried out between 1995 and 1999, with the opening of the lateral arches of the presbytery and the nave.
Very nice is the view from the churchyard. The facade, divided by four pilasters supporting a entablature, is crowned with the tympanum surmounted by three statues: in the center San Lorenzo, on the right Sant'Andrea and on the left an unidentifiable saint, holding a cartouche. The bell tower has a square base up to the bell cell. Above the octagonal drum is set a bulb-shaped cusp.
