It is the oldest church in Castelfranco Veneto, even older than the Duomo.
It is located in the immediate vicinity of the railway station, at the end of one of the city's historic villages, Borgo Pieve. The old Pieve Church has been in Borg Pieve since as early as the 13th century and this make it the first Christian monument in the history of Castelfranco.
Refurbished in the 18th century on the architect Giordano Riccati's design, it hosts a few precious paintings by Pietro Damini.
